HOBBIES/INTERESTS:

Dr. Ellwood worked as a tutor and editor for a decade prior to teaching at Hope. She was also a ballet teacher, having done ballet and historical social dance for much of her life. She loves traveling (but 不 flying), cooking, and making up songs with her son. She is endlessly fascinated by the intersection between biblical and American literature and devoted to helping students find a relationship to literature that makes them feel alive.
